Product Introduction

The pneumatic wafer-type metal-sealed butterfly valve adopts a U-shaped stainless steel sealing ring. This precision-engineered elastic sealing ring achieves three-dimensional eccentric contact with the polished disc.

It eliminates the drawback of conventional eccentric butterfly valves where the sealing surfaces remain in sliding contact and friction during the initial 0° to 10° of opening and closing. This design enables instant separation of the sealing surfaces upon disc opening and immediate sealing upon closing, thereby extending service life and optimizing sealing performance.

Consequently, it is widely used in pipelines conveying corrosive media such as metallurgy, electric power, petroleum, chemical industry, air, gas, combustible gas, and water supply/drainage systems with medium temperatures ≤ 550℃. It serves as an optimal device for flow regulation and fluid shut-off.

① The sealing ring is composed of stacked stainless steel plate and graphite composite plate. It combines the dual advantages of metal hard sealing and elastic sealing, featuring excellent sealing performance at both low and high temperatures, as well as wear resistance, corrosion resistance and long service life.
② The unique extended valve stem structure effectively increases the distance between the actuator and high-temperature medium, providing better heat dissipation.
③ Single-acting pneumatic piston actuator is equipped with a spring return function, which automatically closes the valve in case of sudden air supply failure.
④ The valve features low opening resistance. The butterfly plate sealing surface is an upwardly protruding cone. During opening, all points on the circumference of the butterfly plate disengage from the sealing ring simultaneously, preventing solids from accumulating on the sealing surface.
⑤ Adopting a triple-eccentric sealing structure, the seat and butterfly plate experience almost no friction, with a self-tightening sealing effect that becomes tighter as the valve closes.
★ Valve closing is achieved by elastic compression of the sealing ring, eliminating jamming between the butterfly plate and the sealing ring.
★ Seat replacement is convenient and simple: the seat can be removed simply by taking off the insert, without disassembling the valve body and shaft.
★ With an eccentric shaft and eccentric butterfly plate design, the seat does not contact the butterfly plate during opening or at intermediate positions.
★ Rack-and-pinion double-piston pneumatic actuators are available in double-acting and single-acting (spring return) types, featuring gear drive for safe and reliable operation.
★ The cylinder is made of aluminum alloy, lightweight and aesthetic in appearance. A manual operating mechanism can be mounted on the top or bottom.
★ The rack-and-pinion connection allows adjustment of the opening angle and rated flow.
★ The actuator can be equipped with electric signal feedback indicators and various accessories to realize automatic operation.
★ ISO 5211 standard connection facilitates installation and replacement of the product.
★ Adjustable screws at both ends provide a tuning range of ±4° at 0° and 90° for standard products, ensuring synchronous precision with the valve.
